Lakewood Park Waterfront Access Feasibility Study

The Master Plan for Lakewood Park contemplates additional amenities that will improve waterfront access to Lake Erie.  As such, the City of Lakewood, with assistance from the State of Ohio Department of Natural Resources through their Coastal Management Assistance Grant program, has initiated a study to examine potential projects that would improve waterfront access.

Public Meeting #2 – We need your input!

Join us on June 27, 2023, from 3pm – 7pm for a public input meeting at the Lakewood Park Woman’s Pavilion.

Come have one-on-one conversations with the Consultant Team and City Staff at this open-house-style meeting, review the results of the online survey and Public Meeting #1, and give feedback on the preliminary conceptual designs for the lakefront.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our first public meeting regarding the Lakewood Park Waterfront Access Feasibility Study.

The community can continue to provide input into this study by taking the online survey available by scanning the QR code to the right or by clicking here. We’d love your additional feedback, even if you were in attendance for the meeting. The survey will be open until April 9th.

Please mark your calendars and join us on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 6:00pm for a virtual public meeting to kick-off the Lakewood Park Waterfront Access Feasibility Study.  The City’s consultant, SmithGroup, will lead us through an information sharing and public input gathering session that will help guide how this study moves forward.
