Four Arrested Following Shooting on W. 117th Street
October 03, 2016Lakewood Police responded to a call of a man shot in the parking lot of the Shell Gas Station at 10:42 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. Initial information gathered was that the victim was shot after several rounds were fired from a vehicle traveling on Franklin Boulevard.
Officer located one victim, a later identified as a 27-year-old man from Maple Heights, Ohio. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the forehead and was transported to Metro General Hospital by EMS where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Initial investigation and subsequent follow up of this incident continued until Saturday evening, by which time Lakewood Police had identified and arrested four suspects. Arrest warrants were obtained for each of the individuals; they were charged with attempted murder and all are being held on $500,000 bond.
The four individuals arrested Evan Carter, 18;, Daveon Denson, 19; and Johnny Miller, 19, all residents of Lakewood; as well as Orrion Robinson, 18, a Cleveland resident.
Police are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
