Storm Recovery Update: 8/9 at 1:00 PM

Line workers and utility trucks are around town working to repair storm damage and restore electricity as quickly as possible.

All crews are working 16 hour shifts with eight hours rest and will continue doing so until all power is restored.

As a reminder, Cove Community Center is open today until 6 PM. They’ve got device chargers, A/C, WiFi, water, snacks, games, coloring sheets, Olympics.  Come take a break from the power outage and humidity. Cove will be open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily through the duration of the power outage including Saturday and Sunday. Support staff is on hand to assist.
