Waterfront Promenade to Close During Improvements to Lakewood Park

The lower promenade will close during the week of June 15 for improvements at Lakewood Park. The area is expected to be closed for approximately three weeks.

Contractors have begun work on the east end of the new upper promenade, starting near the gazebo at the top of the ramps. However, contractors will also trench new electrical conduit and install light foundations along the existing promenade along the waterfront.

Work on the Solstice Steps at the northwest corner of the park continues; work on that project is expected to be finished by Labor Day.
