Waterfront Promenade To Close For Two Weeks During Ongoing Improvements To Lakewood Park
July 31, 2015Starting on Monday, Aug. 3, the lower promenade at Lakewood Park will close for improvements for two weeks.
Contractors have begun work on the east end of the new upper promenade, starting near the gazebo at the top of the ramps. However, contractors will also trench new electrical conduit and install light foundations on the existing promenade along the waterfront.
Work on the Solstice Steps at the northwest corner of the park continues; work on that project is expected to be finished this fall.
